重要提醒

常見的垂吊型室內植物，含有不可溶性草酸鈣結晶（raphides）。這些結晶是微小的針狀結構，存在於葉片和莖部各處的特殊細胞中。 當貓咪啃咬咀嚼植物的任何部位時，這些結晶會釋放，並刺入口腔、舌頭和喉嚨等柔軟組織，造成立即且強烈的刺激感。全身性中毒並不常見，因為疼痛通常會讓貓停止繼續啃咬。

• 症狀： 立即性的口腔疼痛、嚴重流口水、用爪子抓嘴巴、嘴唇、舌頭與喉嚨腫脹，以及吞嚥困難；之後也可能出現嘔吐。
• 快速出現： 不適感會在咀嚼後數秒內開始，這是植物的天然防禦機制。
• 處置： 清水沖洗貓咪口腔，幫助沖掉結晶。若腫脹嚴重，或症狀在一小時內沒有緩解，請聯絡獸醫
