聖誕玫瑰（Helleborus niger）是冬季花園和節日期間常見的觀賞植物，花朵看起來優雅，但對貓咪來說相當危險。這種植物全株都有毒，包括花、葉、莖和根。 聖誕玫瑰含有會影響心臟的毒性成分，也含有會刺激口腔和消化道的物質。貓咪如果咬食或吞下，可能出現流口水、嘔吐、腹瀉、腹痛、精神不振等症狀。較嚴重時，毒素可能影響心跳，造成心律不整，甚至危及生命。 因為聖誕玫瑰可能同時造成腸胃刺激和心臟問題，即使只是少量誤食，也應視為有風險。若懷疑貓咪吃到聖誕玫瑰，應盡快聯絡獸醫。
