重要提醒

榕屬植物，包括垂榕（Ficus benjamina），是常見的觀葉植物。它們不適合讓貓啃咬，因為葉子和莖受損時會流出刺激性的乳白色汁液。 汁液含有 ficin 和 psoralens，這兩類植物成分可能刺激口腔、胃和皮膚。Ficin 會刺激敏感組織，而 psoralens 可能讓皮膚對光更敏感。反覆接觸榕屬植物汁液，也可能讓某些動物逐漸變得更敏感。 如果貓咬到榕樹葉或接觸汁液，可能出現流口水、口腔疼痛、嘔吐、腹瀉、皮膚發紅、搔癢或腫脹。掉落葉片仍可能被貓拿來啃。請讓貓遠離榕屬植物和掉落葉片；若症狀持續、擴散，或看起來不只是輕微，請聯絡獸醫。
