重要提醒

鳥巢花燭是常見的熱帶室內植物，具有光亮的心形葉與特殊的蠟質佛焰苞。所有花燭屬 (Anthurium) 物種都屬於天南星科 (Araceae)，葉子、莖和漿果全株都含有不溶性草酸鈣晶體，也就是針晶體 (raphides)。貓咪咬到植物時，這些像細針一樣的結晶會立刻刺傷嘴巴和消化道裡柔軟的組織。有些品種會長出色彩鮮豔的果實，這些果實對貓咪可能特別有吸引力，但也有同樣的風險。

• 症狀：立即口腔疼痛、強烈流涎、用爪抓嘴、嘴唇、舌頭與喉嚨腫脹，以及吞嚥困難。攝入漿果也可能造成嘔吐與腹瀉。
• 漿果是額外危害：含有相同的針晶體，出現時應立即移除。
• 處理方式：用水沖洗貓的口腔。如果腫脹明顯，或症狀超過一小時仍未改善，請諮詢獸醫。
