彩葉芋 (Caladium spp.)，常被稱為象耳芋，是一種熱帶室內植物，以紅、粉、白、綠等色彩鮮明的心形葉片聞名。全株，包括葉子、莖，尤其是地下塊莖，都含有不溶性草酸鈣結晶（針晶，raphides），接觸柔軟組織時會立刻造成機械性傷害。塊莖的結晶濃度最高；如果貓咪有挖土習慣，會挖盆栽並咬到塊莖，風險最大。

• 症狀：立即出現劇烈口腔疼痛、流口水、用爪子抓嘴、嘴巴、嘴唇與喉嚨腫脹、吞嚥困難和嘔吐。
• 塊莖濃度最高：貓若在彩葉芋盆栽裡挖土並咬到塊莖，會接觸到最高劑量的草酸鈣結晶。
• 處理方式：可用清水沖洗貓的口腔，幫助帶走結晶。若腫脹明顯或症狀沒有很快緩解，請尋求獸醫照護。
